In these days of over-population, we felt one was sufficient. However, when our first came so close to expiring completely it made us realize how vulnerable we'd feel, so made the decision to try for another. We don't regret it. The experts tell us our eldest may always be prone to ill-health, and not prove to have a long life, even if the transplant proves a success. ;-) Twilight – it was always our intention to only have one.
