Oh yes... I've just got the remark about Ansel: Ansel Adams of course. Me being a photographer (of sorts) have got a book here of his photographs. He sure demonstrated what you could do with black and white images.

Twilight - it was always our intention to only have one. In these days of over-population, we felt one was sufficient. However, when our first came so close to expiring completely it made us realize how vulnerable we'd feel, so made the decision to try for another. We don't regret it. The experts tell us our eldest may always be prone to ill-health, and not prove to have a long life, even if the transplant proves a success. ;-)

WWW - Sadly, while converting from heating oil to wood was relatively simple, the 100-Acre Wood House is not so well placed for a wind turbine (too many tall trees around) and solar panels are still hideously expensive when one considers all the ancillary equipment necessary. They are slowly coming down in price, though, so remain a definite future option.
That B45 is rather lovely, isn't she?

Oh that L22, I know him well, often drunk on the job, lolling about with his spliffs under the worktables, harrassing lovely B45 incessantly and paying G89 to slap on those stickers for him.
XO
WWW
PS Wind turbines, solar panels, those are your friends. Not L22.

OOOOH! Such gorgeousnessRJ! Are you going to bring this part of your blog site forward to centre stage soon? There'll be such a lot to tell us and show us as the seasons cycle around. Many passing readers might miss all of this gorgeousness while it's hidden away in the "backroom". :-)
